I currently have a 1989 Weekender 300 and now have a 14 month old daughter. The two don't really work that well together as the Weekender does not have an aft cabin of any sort. We have begun looking for something larger to accomodate the addition to the family. We don't want to end up with something that is too slow. We are looking to get something in the 40 ft range and hoping to be able to still cruise at nearly 25 kts, can anyone suggest that fits the bill without ending up costing more than $70,000?

I just did a quick search and there are a lot of 40 ft express cruisers. They have a bunk bed set up for a whole lot of kids :smt043. You never know when the family will expand. The boat years were early 90's. best of luck. Side note... I have a family of 4 and we have plenty of room in our 340 sundancer. Mid and aft,so they each have thier own.

You can't complain. Yes we had a 230OV with two older kids and twins. We still had a blast.

Look for a 1989 or 1990 model 390EC with diesel engines.

A whole lot of boat for the money and one that is very forgiving and super easy to maintain.
