Hello everyone,

I bought a 2006 Sea Ray Sundancer 260 (called 275 in Norway as stern platform is also measured) last year. Am very satisfied with the boat so far, but wants to upgrade the stereo with sub woofer. I received some schematics from customer support showing a 9" 1/18" sub, and there is a prepared location for the sub. Understand that I also need an amplifier to run this. If possible I like to keep excisting stereo (Clarion radio/cd with two cabin speakers and two (+ one small speaker port side) cockpit speakers. There is no sound in stb side cockpit speaker. I beliewe the wiring is the problem (has tested speaker and it works, also tried to change output to port speaker and output works).

Has anyone had problems with the wiring? Is this "accessible" for changing wires without dismantling too much or destroying interior?

Has anyone upgraded with "original" subwoofer/amplifier? Know name and number for sub and amp.?

Best regards and thanks

On my 220 SD I added a Kenwood SW in the factory location. Look at Crutchfield. They now have a 200w model (mine is only 100w). Should be around $200 US for amp & woofer.
