Scott's (sfergson727) wife called and his surgery went well today. The IV went in on the first try. Yea!!! He was eating lunch around 1 pm CT and wanted me to post an update for you. If all goes well, he should be posting from home Monday or Tuesday.

Please keep the venting thread alive as I'm sure he will want to contribute.

Have a great weekend all, and Scott, keep getting better.

Good to hear. Good luck with the recovery.

Thanks for the update Mike, and good news to hear Scott!

Thanks Mike for the Scott update. Hope he gets some good pain meds or his post surgery posts might get a little cantankerous!

I’m looking forward to his drug induced posts..

Speedy recovery Scott.

Good to hear and I look forward to some interesting, drug induced posts!

Great news, thanks for the update.

He's a closet Liberal - I heard his surgery was going to be free.....

Good luck, Scott.

Isn't that how it works? Similar to the Chrysler dealerships went to those that donated the most to the DNC...

Good to hear things went well, thanks for the update!

Scott is a closet liberal.

HUH!!!

I'd have never thunk that. May need to re-read his political posts. May have mistakenly confered his conservative views on winterizing and portable generators to his politics.

NAH!!!

Hope this post doesn’t get us thrown in “Holding Tank”

Great to see you feel well enough to be back posting again. Now can you clean up the Holding tank! I know you can do it even in a druggy fog.

Scott, check and see if one leg is shorter than the other. If they are the same length, the surgery is a success:smt001

Good luck on the recovery.

Here is to a speedy recovery Scott. Hurry up and get posting before the "Venting" thread gets locked. (Grin)

How is it feeling Scott (other than the obvious). It sounds as though it was smooth sailing as expected. Good news and glad you are well.

Glad to hear from you. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Have fun with the therapy.

Pretty sore this morning, but they just unhooked me from the IV, so I have a little more freedom to go to the bathroom when I want. Little tip....when the nurse comes in and innocently asks "Scott, have you gone to the bathroom yet?" You say YES! Naturally, I didn't and got to experience the joy of a catheter last night. Lesson learned.

Ouch!!! Thanks for the tip Scotty!! Always looking out for your CSR brothers (& sisters)!

Ha "Little tip". No pun intended of course!

Hey, glad to hear it went well. Welcome back!
