Unless I've missed it.......

What about the 69 year old granny with breast cancer who's currently behind bars for staying within the velvet ropes..
This statement alone proves what a dumb fuck you are. If you had even the slightest knowledge of our nations capitol you would understand that the velvet ropes in the rotunda are placed purposely to allow members of the house and senate to move freely between the two chambers without obstruction from legitimate capitol tours. When you idiotic trumptards claim that your “peaceful protesters” were being holier than thou by remaining “within the velvet ropes” it is the most self incriminating evidence that these fucking morons were not the innocent “touring” citizens of the United States of Americas capitol. If they were, they would have known to remain OUTSIDE the velvet ropes. But hey asshole dumb fuck, keep following the trumptard herd of sheeptards and spew the fake message that this was not an attack on our capitol, our freedom, and our nation’s relentless history of a peaceful transfer of power…. Carry on sparktard. DERP. SHEEP.

Wow, unhinged much. You should see someone about that.

Look at ALL the photos and videos out there. The police waved them in! What damage was there?! Why aren't there hearings on the Floyd riot damage that destroyed many cities and encouraged by dems?

It's insane how so many were successful in their lives, now retired and can't see the through the media BS.

Turn back on the CNN @tc410. You likely won't be around long enough to witness the full destruction of this country.

Ya know, just to be completely transparent, it's not my law enforcement background that makes me so mad about what happened at the Capital, it's my military background. I am a dyed in the wool patriot and to watch that crowd storm our nation's Capital just really pissed me off. Watching the hearings that I've watched (I think 3 of them) it became apparent to me that those bastards attacked not only my Capital, but they attacked MY COUNTRY. That Trump ignited that protest then failed to act when it turned into a riot really pissed me off.

Hi legal advisors, hell, even his own kids were trying to get him to act to stop the riot. But he didn't. He watched it from the Executive Dining room. Only after it was obvious that "his people" could not stop the peaceful transfer of power because all of the legislators were safely hidden away, did he go on TV.

Self-serving bastard.

Even better. A former cop and military man yet you can't see the propaganda. You fought for our country (thank you for your service) but you're a OK with it being destroyed from within.

Here's some questions for you -

How did they open the huge entry doors locked by magnets? WHO PUSHED THE BUTTON to unlock the doors?

Why did Pelosi decline the national guard days before?

Why did the PD wave them in?

Ray Epps?

Again, it's a damn shame so many can't see it... the Chinese are winning.

Here's some reading for you.

Trump's policies, by any objective measure, put this country on the best economic footing in last 50 years. Biden's policies have caused massive inflation, spiking interest rates and a recession. So much better then Trump. Now you can dazzle me with all the "inherited the worst economy", "Putin's price hike" bullshit. It is right out of Obama's playbook, blame the last guy. Probably because this is Obama's 3rd term.

I only got to page 3 of the thread and lost patience, so I apologize if I am repeating a point already made.
Ah yes....Republican party is our friend.....idiots

Economists say Trump’s economic legacy will be defined by his failure in leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic that exacerbated the financial downturn, domestic policies that overwhelmingly benefited the wealthy, and international trade policies that hurt U.S. industry while simultaneously alienating allies.

By attempting to implement economic policy through the so-called "art of the deal" and ignoring lessons that many economists have learned over the last 50 years -- such as the importance of Fed independence, the effects of large budget deficits on trade deficits, the value of multilateral institutions such as the World Trade Organization and more -- he failed to achieve his own self-proclaimed goals of reducing the trade deficit with China, controlling the national debt or strengthening the American manufacturing sector.

Actually all the video isn’t out there. The Jan 6 committee hasn’t released it all. I wonder why.

I do not know the answer to this.
Why did Pelosi decline the national guard days before?
At that time few people expected this to turn into a riot. I think it was poor planning on her part.
Why did the PD wave them in?
What would you do if you were in the cop's shoes? Try to hold back the mob? I'm not sure what I would have done if I were there and looking through the door window at that crowd.
Ray Epps?
My mind is not made up on this. It's hard to say whether or not he was planted there by the govt. I've watched some of the videos and read some of the articles about him and still don't know which side is telling the truth.
Again, it's a damn shame so many can't see it... the Chinese are winning.
You and I agree on this.
Here's some reading for you.

I've never been to Washington DC, haven't seen whats there. Those big bronze doors at the capitol building are pretty cool. They're called the Columbus Doors, installed in 1863.

Hope the woke crowd don't find out about them...next thing you know they'll be insisting they're racist or something and demand they be torn out and melted down.

Unfortunately none of those questions are even being asked by the sham Jan 6 propoganda comittee. And that's the problem.

You respond awfully quickly with names and insults. I just pointed out the obvious facts. No insults, no names. Where were the economists during the pandemic? "Exacerbated the financial downturn"? I believe that was the hysterical "public health" officials and predominantly democrat run states, cities and counties essentially shutting down the entire f'ng economy for more than 6 months. They put countless small businesses out of business while allowing the big box stores to stay open. And put 6 economists in a room and you will get 12 answers to a question. If there is a consensus, 999/1,000 times it is wrong. But I don't know why I bother trying to educate the uneducable. I'm gonna go boating.

100%.

@Gofirstclass you and I appear to agree on quite a bit - I have no faith in the Jan 6 hearings as it's nothing more than a show trial and propaganda in my book, so I give it none of my time.

Just thankful I was able to talk one of my good friends out of going to DC that day...

Yup....Republicans lowered tax rate in highest earners while the rest of us have to keep sending checks to the IRS. "Trickle Down" economics have been proven to never work and yet this is what is repackaged and sold.

President Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) into law on Dec. 22, 2017, bringing sweeping changes to the tax code. How people felt in principle about the $1.5+ trillion overhauls depended to some extent on their opinion of Trump's presidency. Individually, the impact of the changes depended on factors like income level, filing status, and deductions. Those living in a high-tax state with soaring property values may have paid more in taxes in 2019.

For the wealthy, banks, and other corporations, the tax reform package was considered a lopsided victory given its significant and permanent tax cuts to corporate profits, investment income, estate tax, and more. Financial services companies stood to see huge gains based on the new, lower corporate rate (21%), as well as the more preferable tax treatment of pass-through companies.3 Some banks said their effective tax rate would drop under 21%.

The overhaul was forecast to raise the federal deficit by hundreds of billions of dollars—the Congressional Budget Office estimating $1.9 trillion—over the coming decade.
No one is asking you or wanting your "education"....we have seen what it looks like.

You have zero clue what makes good tax policy. Deficits are a function of spending not revenue.

What you implying in your first paragraph? The rates weren't lowered for only the highest earners.

After the first paragraph all original thinking ceases. If you're going to cut and paste how about posting the link so we can read the whole article.;)

Thank you for the Wikipedia explanation of what a deficit is....I had no idea.....brilliant!

Heres one for you: Cutting taxes reduces government revenues, at least in the short term, and creates either a budget deficit or increased sovereign debt.

You obviously don’t have any idea.

Hmmm, total Revenue increased 2016-2021 with the exception of 2020. Receipts from Individual Income Tax which are part of it also increased 2016-2021 with the exception of 2020.
