I have 2008, 340 Sundancer with what I believe to be factory mounted underwater transom lights. One of the lights has water inside it and a burned out light bulb. The current light fixture is probably 3-4" in diameter and 3" tall. The light color is white only and I have two of them mounted

I have a couple questions:
1) Based upon the size and shape of the light I am guessing the actual light bulb is an incandescent type. Anybody know for sure what kind of light bulb is used?

2) Are the light bulbs replaceable?

3) Are the light fixtures repairable? Need to keep water from coming in.

4) Are these lights still available?

5) Anybody have a data sheet or a manufacture name and part number?

Unfortunately you can not change the bulb on these lights, they are sealed.
You need to get a new set at $145 for each light or $250 for their new blue LED
You can find them here

If you want my opinion, not worth it.
1st, the company doesn’t respond to customers email.
2nd, for a few more bucks you can bite the bullet and go transom lights instead.
You can get some pretty cool seablazex underwater lights at Hodges marine on sale.

Not worth replacing. I had the same on my 2007 AJ and went with Lumitex. Although a bit pricey I am happy with them. I went with blue. Good luck.

I have the same lights under my platform... I rarely use them as they draw a huge amount of current.

You say "underwater transom" lights... I don't think they are underwater.

As others have said, I won't try to fix mine when the go out... I'll replace them with an LED version.

Good luck and welcome to CSR!

I just replaced mine this winter with the same unit. One thing to note is the screw holes on the new light didn’t match the old light. Therefore, you will need to drill new holes, but the old holes will be hidden when the light is installed. I chose to go with the same light because I don’t like when something on the boat doesn’t work. Also, I’m planning on moving up soon so I was trying to be reasonable with cost to repair. Overall, I like the lights and use them every night we are at the dock. My next boat, I will go with the Sea Blaze or similar.

I just installed all ShadowCaster LED as shown here under the platform but also throughout the cockpit, shadowcaster system is linked to my 8616 and has a very nice control tab for adjusting about anything on the lights.

I agree with the above, the LED Lumitec Sea Blaze are a very easy to install and great quality.
