Under canopy solar lighting - 12 volt

Was thinking about putting some under canopy solar charged lights under my boat lift canopy. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions/ideas. I would like to have the lights so I can get under there at night and clean up or get some work done if needed.

well I'm not sure what kind of lights specifically you're looking at, but in my experience solar lights are more "mood" type lighting rather then any kind of work lighting. typically the output is very low like single or double digit lumens. perhaps there are some out there that do push more light but I'm guessing they might get pricey at that point and the benefit starts to outwiegh traditional lighting options. if there are any out there that make for strong lighting, I too would like to know more!

I was looking for some light to add to the bimini to better light the cockpit area. I put a battery (AA) operated LED tap light under the bimini that worked great at anchor but underway it would not stay attached. It is attached with a magenet. I am currently thinking about a better way to attach it permantly. Right now I just take it down and put it up. The light I bought was from a big box store similar to these.
