I think I have seen a post in the past regarding this problem but I can't find it in a search. When I am on my PC and replying to a post or typing a PM not all the letters appear after typed and it is very jittery. Each word I type I have to check because it is missing 1-3 letters as if I never hit the keys. Is there a setting I have wrong that I can change to fix this?
This happens to me also and does come up on here from time to time. I'm curious to see if anyone has found a solution. I have tried logging out and back in and it seems to be better for awhile. It doesn't happen when I use my iPad or phone through the tapatalk app, which is pretty much all I use anymore, since the PC is so aggravating. Sent from my crappy iPhone using Tapatalk
What broswer are you guys using? I've been using chrome and I don't have that problem. My only quirk is that the new posts are on the top which I kind of like. Maybe trying clearing the cache?
I also have no issues with Chrome. Newman, you can change the display settings to read in threaded mode.
Thanks for the replies. Sounds like it is a browser issue. I am using windows explorer on my PC but I use firefox as a backup when I run into issues like this. That usually resolves them. I am on my iphone or ipad most of the time but there is nothing like the speed of typing on a good old PC. Macs are out of the question for me because of my business.
This is happening to me as well. It doesn't happen anywhere else, just on CSR. Is this a CSR / server issue? I have to type slow as keys I press don't even make it to the screen... Very frustrating... Is CSR going to do anything about this? This is ridiculous!
I had this problem when I was using IE. Switched to Chrome a year ago and the problem was solved. Plus, with Chrome you can run Ad Blocker which makes the internet surfing experience MUCH faster.
1-Settings 2-general settings- 3- misc. options- uncheck the enhanced box and check the standard one. Still does auto save but doesn't seem as bad.
This happens to me too and I find it to be the advertising on the page at that moment (top and bottom of page, not the right gutter advertising) to be causing the issue. If I click on the "x" at the top right corner of the currently displaying google ad the issue goes away. I'm using Chrome and as soon as I click and close the ad I'm fine again until that ad rotates in again. Probably some code in the advertising conflicting with the page.
It eemto strt a few years ag righ after CSR sitchd severs or provide or hatever Take two: Has done that ever since CSR switched servers or administrators or whatever a few years ago. I just type in word or notepad and cut and paste, otherwise I would be 2 hours writing a 3 sentence post I've tried all of the suggestions, nothing works, but I'm also not very computer savvy. I don't worry about it, only happens on CSR
