350 Mag MPI,
I just purchased 2 new engines for me 290 SLX. I had steering issues and it turns out the only way to permanently fix the problem is remove both engines, replace the transom assemblies and put everything back together. Because it is the same cost to Install new or old engines, I went ahead and installed brand new engines. The boat looks and runs great!

It left me with my old engines. I am selling them because I know how hard it is to actually get these engines from Mercury. It took me 8 months to get get engines delivered. Every month they just kept sayimg..."no words yet. Maybe next month."

I had an estimate to rebuild these from the ground up (stripped and painted, upgraded main bearing, new exhaust, new alternator and starter..literally everything) and it was $6,000 each.

One engine has factory compression, the other has low compression on 2 pistons. The shop felt that head work or gaskets would fix it, but I did not explore further. They are available at a price that even completely rebuilt will save you $4,000 each.

I am including everything with this (including exhaust Y-pipe, spare fuel pumps, and so many parts). I am also including new parts I bought for cosmetic reasons. They include new pulleys and miscellaneous brackets...too much to list.

If you need GM 350 MAG MPI engines, this will save you money and save you months in the process. If you want to part them out, you can make even more. If you have a shop you can keep the profits yourself.

You must have a way to pick up these engines as they weight more than 800 lbs. They are in palletized crates so forklift will work. Pick up or Delivery can be arranged once payment is cleared.

Asking $6,000 each. Pictures coming soon! Thanks for looking.
