Twin 454's Verses twin 350 on weekender

Looking for any information on a sea ray that would be great for doing dive charters

are you talking about a 30??? i have 454's in my 30... they are tight to work on... and its alot cheaper for 350 parts.. but i cruise 32 mph at 3000.. and can stay on plane at 2300.. and top out at 42 on gps... i guy in my marina has 350's i have not run with him yet....

I had a 300 before I bought my 390. It was a sweet ride! Beamy enough to give a stable ride but plenty fast if you wanted to be somewhere in a hurry. Mine had the twin 350 mercs at 260hp each and alpha one drives. I highly recommend stainless props with this setup. I could cruise at 30mph at 3,000rpm and 42mph at 4,500.

you had a sundancer then if you had outdrives... the outdrives are faster than inboards...
