So a few weeks ago, I noticed a foul odor coming from underneath the deck of my 340 Sportfish. Upon investigation, I noticed that my TW Discharge pump was not ejecting contents into my black water tank, but rather it was ejecting out of the pump itself. I've had the boat less than a year and this is the first issue with this pump. I haven't yet tried taking it apart, as it's in a rather inconvenient spot to access. I've linked a video below..Anyone have any idea just what is likely going on here?

Well, the good news is you have found your problem. Good luck with the fix.

(Take it in good fun....you have all winter to fix it)

You need to do 2 things. First remove the pump and disassemble it. Make sure the housing is good and not cracked. If housing is good do a rebuild. You need the bellows, o ring kit consisting of 2 o rings and 4 duckbills. The duckbills will be 1.5” or 2”. Take note of the orientation. Good news is your pump motor is working fine. Also replace the hose clamps while you’re doing the job and sit down because vacuflush will lighten your wallet when ordering the parts. Total rebuild without housing 170.00. If the housing is cracked then order a new pump 300.00

Sound like my washing machine...
