Does anyone here bring a TV on their 220 Sundeck? Now that summer is coming to a close, I am thinking about watching football on my boat....sounds simple to me....TV, Boat, Fun?

also check out directv they sale a portable tv that gets all the channels not that cheap but for those in need of a good football game you'll do anything right?

Besides the variable options technically, have you thought of the fact that it'll be very hard to see the screen, unless you have some kind of sun shade around the tv or buy special unit for outside viewing?

I bring this up b/c I use laptop on board and without sunshade, forget it. I also use cockpit TV and during the day it's not so good, depending on the angle and sun light direction. If you notice on my sig. I have full camper canvas, which stays on all the time. It still doesn't help on a bright day.

All are very good ideas. I think that my laptop will be the way to go. I need to look into a sun shade for sure. Maybe a make-shift piece of cardboard or something will work.

I love the direct tv Sat-go, but $999 is a bit steep! Maybe next year when the wife is working full time :)

We take a 15 inch lcd tv (polaroid hd) on our 225 WE, with a small hd antenna that we picked up at w.lm.rt. I use our small jump start generator to power the tv and antenna. We can get the local channels hd, it looks great and can go for about four-five hours. I want to mount the tv to the inside of the cabin with a mount, not sure about that idea, has anyone done that to their boat, mounting a small tv? Love watching football on the weekends, just not enough power for the pot of chili......
