The switch to raise the TV is not working. I checked the breaker and plugs. Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting this issue?

l would remove the rocker/spring switch and see if power is getting to it with a multimeter. If power is available at the switch, remove the leads from the switch and contact them (e.g. jumping the switch)...does the TV then retract? Lastly, I don't recall if that system has an in-line fuse somewhere (since that system is an electric actuator, I'm thinking there might be an inline fuse that would blow in the event the actuator is jammed or something is preventing the TV from retracting or extending down). If no 120V AC available at the switch, the problem is somewhere else upstream.

I would start there.

It looks like the slide out controller is bad. Has anyone replaced this part? The model is no longer available.

So if you bypass the module, the actuator will work? That's not a part I've heard go bad before.

Not sure how to bypass it. The switch is connected to the DC side and is wired in with my Raymarine Sat TV(Marine Max installed a year ago). The Sat TV works. This controller make a clicking sound when the button is pressed, which is how I found the module. I bought a replacement one, newer model. Should be in this week. I’ll connect it and see what happens.

Looks like it could be from an RV slide room control. Might try local RV dealer

I bought the new slide out module and I have the same problem. Looked all over for a fuse and did not find one. The switch seams to be working as it triggers a clicking sound at the slide out module. Anyone ever have this problem? I emailed my Marine Max installer for suggestions.

An RV thread said to check the batteries. I’ll do that today. The boat is hooked up to shore power with the battery charger on. All other battery systems work.

What voltage are you getting at the switch?

If you ruled out the culprit being the switch and now the controller, I would move downstream to the actuator itself and ensure the leads on it are in fact still on it and secure. You have to remove the square panel around the TV to access the actuator.

I’ll check the voltage then move to the actuator. The batteries were good. Have 4 west marine no maintenance batteries. Cleaned a few connections but it still didn’t work. Haven’t heard from Marine Max yet.

Try having someone click the switch while you try pulling down the on the tv panel, Take the wood panel off first (4 screws). This will help diagnose a weak actuator. You'll then need to find the wires going into the actuator and get a multimeter on them while activating the switch. No power probably means a fuse somewhere is the issue. Also make sure to FIRST check for power going into AND out of the module you installed.

@richardcano01 - were you able to fix this issue? This morning while lowering down my TV, the motor kept going (making noise) even after the TV was fully down. I got it to stop by hitting the switch again, but now the TV won’t go back up (motor makes noise when I hit the switch but no movement) and the flip down panel holding the TV seems to swing freely.
