TV Mount - removeable cockpit flat panel

I am looking at adding a removable TV in the cockpit of the 290 - found pictures of these mounts – I found Sea Ray sells the mount/parts that are in the second picture #1807962 for $99.50 (mount & Pole) and #1807963 for $106.50 (receiving base) … I wanted to buy 2 bases (one for the bow and one for the island counter) anyone know of any other manufacturer of something similar or better pricing as my mount pricing (>$300) is now exceeding the TV cost?

Is the top mount easily removeable, or do you have to unscrew the four screws that hold the mount to the back of the TV?

Anyone know of a quick disconnect type mount?

It looks like there are various stainless poles...some with curves, some straight. All relatively pricey.

The 2nd picture in the orginal post is the way the factory cockpit TV mounts in our boat. Images below show the pole just slides into the base, pole has notches which slide over a pin in the base that keeps the TV from rotating. The pole attaches to the TV with the JEDEC pattern. We changed the TV to a 32" Sharp HD (shown) from a 19" Sharp HD/DVD combo to have a bigger screen for the ball games. I had to use a TV wall mount drilled out on the wall side to interface to the pole smaller JEDEC patten and the mount larger JDEC pattern attached to the 32" TV.

I found this to be very economical and you can purchase the base separately, therefore allowing you to move you TV as you desire. Not SS but definitely worth the price. $79.00 at Sam's Club.

No stainless but its high quality stuff and so far its working flawlessly.
