I agree they work... Looks like Barneget bay on your way back to Greencove marina on a weekday

This was a trip that MarkD and I took from Green Cove down to Forked River (Southwinds) back in summer '05. And yes it was a weekday. I shot the video on a regular old video tape camera, stuck it on the hard drive and forgot about it. Last year I put it up on photobucket and today I started playing with their editing tools. Pretty basic stuff but it's easy and I like easy. BTW, Mark (Getaway) hangs out on the NORTHEAST forum since he abandoned all his friends in NJ and moved back up to the Hudson River :smt089 after the '05 season. I also took his avatar pic, but that was on a different trip down to LBI.

Takes a while to get going and then it stutters a bit. One drawback of Photobucket that I have found is that it gets bogged down.

I'd like to thank the Academy, the cast, crew and boats that worked so hard to make this video a possibility.

nice video.

i just figured out how to post youtube videos on the forum so they play without leaving the forum.

let me know if you're interested.

Randy

Were you out on the bow playing with a video camera while the boat was running on plane?

Randy:
youtube videos will work that way but the ones on photobucket will not. And I can't export these edited videos from photobucket. If they allowed it, I'd get it onto my hard drive and then load it up on youtube. Also, the original of this video is LONG gone. Sadly, it's only archived on photobucket.

Frank:
Lill was at the helm. Since she won't drive while on plane, we were chugging along at around 7 knots.

Action shots are better than stills, but Video is KING.

You don't keep the original tapes?

Glad to hear that you weren't on plane.

Best regards,
Frank

I probably do have the video tape but am WAY too lazy to convert to dig again. I did that about 2 computers ago. I never backed it up so it was f-disked when I reinstalled windows on that machine. GONE!

Ok, found the video on another PC in the house. Uploaded it to Youtube and here it is...

I see what you mean about your lower windshield cover. That thing was flapping all over the place. What did you decide to do?
