So, I am new to the big boat scene with my new to me 2005 320. I have been looking into the many new and different ways of cleaning/compounding/waxing/buffing boats. I bought a bottle of gelcoat sealer from Feldten Marine based on the videos I watched and the reviews I read. For $30 I figured it was a cheap way to try it out. My boat still sits in the water at the marina and will for most of October. It shows some oxidation so I thought I would do a small area just to see if it even works or not. Now, the picture you will see makes my boat look like it’s heavily oxidized, but I assure you it isn’t. (I will add another pic from a distance to show you how it actually looks) So, it didn’t take much effort on my part to do this small area and I am impressed with how it got rid of the oxidation and brought back a really nice shine. All done by hand and leaning over the dock. They actually recommend applying by hand. I am planning on using this in the Spring. We’ll see how well it does and more importantly, how well does it hold up.
