Has anybody tried this yet. Might help with mice and rats but def not with the GREMLINS we all face when we open it up in spring

Never tried that. I use dryer sheets.

Yes, we used to use Irish Spring to keep the deer from eating our flowers and foundation planting’s when we had a house. Karen would shave the bars with a potato peeler into the flower beds. It works. ( so does planting marigolds among the bushes)
As far as mice goes, I put a few drops of peppermint oil on cotton balls and set them on the floor of garage next to the tires of the cars and my four wheelers when we leave for long periods of time.
Damn mice used to get into the battery box of the four wheelers and chew the wires, not since peppermint oil. Works for us.

It repells mice and deer but you’re supposed to shower with it? I’ll guess I’ll stick to the repellent use.
