There were millions for Republicans that didn't vote the party line in 2020 and the reason was Trump. That fact came out in the analysis of the voting data, I'm in that group. The party has done nothing but lose since 2018 and the reason, Trump. The moderate conservatives were turned off by Trump and voted against him. The complaining of the far right on here about the RINO as they like to refer to us shows the division in the party because they didn't like how we voted.

Wanna bet? A Bush would be a hard no for many people. And anyone the Republicans would put up is going to be painted as Trump 2.0. That’s their formula. Even prior media darlings like McCain are labeled as racist, etc. Given Republicans ineptness at cheating with mail in ballots and the like, they may never win again. Their tactics are now much easier when you don't have to vote in person. Ballot harvesting is borderline, if not outright, legal in many states. Republicans have their head in the sand because it's slimy and they like to be holier than thou, until they get caught.

I'll give you a simple example from my area of how it works. Crook county Ill is generally democrat in the city of Chicago and generally republican in the northwest suburbs. Elections are run by the Democrat county leadership. What happened in this election. The polling places in the suburbs where given sharpie markers to fill in the ballots. The markers would tend to bleed thru and spoil the votes, many for Republican candidates. So voters either had to wait to get it all fixed or just give up and leave. Election officials wouldn't let people use their own pens when the word got out about the problems. Didn't have this problem in the highly Democrat city. Any guess as to why? Small operation, but very effecting allowing the Dems to maintain control. Things like that have been happening for decades.

And the Dems only have to do this in a select few counties to control the national vote. It is insidious and cynical, but all you have to look at is how these elections turn for the Dems at the last moment (counting mail in ballots). Why do you think these counties don't count the mail in ballots as they arrive? Because they don't know how many votes they need. So they wait until the in person votes are all tallied and then, regardless of how big a lead the republican has, they count the mail in ballots and somehow always have enough votes to overcome the deficit.

But I've known them a long time and we have been debating a long time. Giving them sh!t is half the fun. I don't understand how we went from spirited debate to couples getting divorced over politics, but I think Barak Hussein Obama had something to do with it. The Great Devider.
