I have a sea ray 210, 2000 EFI, when I turn the key over the motor will just make one click/dink sound, I do this about 10-15 times then the motor will turn over. Does this sound like a bad starter or a bad solenoid???

1st make sure your getting power from your battery. What I suggest is to remove the starter/solenoid & go to a local auto place like pep boys or Murrays, they will test it for you free......

before removing your starter. check and make sure all battery connections are tight. then make sure all ground connections are tight.
after that and you are still having problems, there is a slave solnoid on top of the engine that will be your next step. while someone else is trying to start engine check and see if you are getting power thru the solenoid. test light lead on the yellow red wire. if ou are getting power thru the solenoid then your starter is bad if no power is present on the yellow/red wire then the solenoid is bad.
