Hello fellow boaters,
New owner here. Bought a 1989 340 Sundancer late last year. Only used it a couple of times before winter storage.
Went to boat this weekend to do some preseason maintenance etc.
I plugged my shore power cable into the 120v 15 amp outlet in the boat yard. Using a pigtail adaptor. When I turn on the main 30 amp breaker in the boat, it instantly trips the GFCI on the outlet in the boatyard. This is with no other breakers in the boat turned on. Any ideas of where to start looking for a problem? What 120v system would be energized by only the main beaker being on?
Thanks,
Adam
