Trim tab mod 310 DA

Please let us know the results after you have tried them.

Trim tab test drive is a success. Before trim tab modification slowest planing speed was 26 MPH with trim tab modification 19 MPH. Very little down trim needed, No effect on top speed of 44 MPH Now I can cruise with my slow boaters

p.s. Full fuel and two pax.

Nice!

How did you attach them?

Thanks for the report. When I get time I will try this.

Nice work. This is on my list of mods when the boat comes out. Unfortunately my tabs have a bend down on one side and a bend up on the other. Severely limiting my ability to expand the size.....pondering

Trim tab modification went well for last season. With much improved handling especially at low planing speeds and in turns. The downside of this modification was spraying the back of the boat and backseat. Although my passengers did not enjoy it my dog did. Maybe Tabman would chime in with a better solution.

Original size is 12 x 12" enlarged to 18 x 12"

Also I noticed the tabs are not square .

Not sure about the gauge thickness. A dock neighbor fabricated them for me. I'd say maybe 1/8 inch. Slightly thicker than what's on there now.

P.S. I like your avatar I have a few pics from FL450
