I have a 2007 310 Sea Ray Sundancer with factory installed trim tabs. HIN SERT9863A70731ODA1329 with v drive, and 2 350 Engines.
I have a Garmin GPS Map 7600 installed and a Mercruiser Vessel View 7 installed. There are trim tab switches on the dash but no indicators.

What do you have available to add a visible indicator on the dash? Given my electronics is the NMEA route the easiest?

What is recommended for upgrading the factory installed trim tabs to a larger size. I have read that the factory tabs are on the small size.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

We do make a NEMA kit, but it is important to make sure your displays have the ability to display and calibrate Trim Tab position. Here's a link to more info https://bennetttrimtabs.com/product/nmea-2000-indicator-kit/ and SeaRay has used some non standard actuators on some models so take a look at the the install instructions here http://bennetttrimtabs.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/NMEA1_install_instructions.pdf

Upgrading to larger size Tabs is almost always a good idea. Can you tell me the size of the Tabs on the boat now? And we really don't know what Tabs SeaRay used on a particular model, so if you could post pictures of them that would really help!

I think you should get use to using the trim tabs before making any changes. Trimming is about keeping the boat plained properly. Once you get the hang of it, I doubt you would need any indicators. Some people have a 'gauge' they paste to their dash. It is more like a bubble level. Bennett use to have a wonderful simulator on their site that allows you to practice trimming.
