Trim pump runs after port motor shut down?

Crazy thing I noticed. The trim tab pump runs for about 5 seconds after shutting the port engine start switch off. Is this normal? I have a 2000 340DA. Let me know if you noticed this same thing. Thanks.

are you equipped with "auto-trim system"

I don't know if I have auto trim... Just have the regular trim switches..

It will be a small black box mounted probably behind the dash somewhere, connected to the trim switches with a lead to the ignition. Easy test is turn key on, deploy your tabs fully, turn the key OFF and go peek at the tabs to see if they are retracting.
