Trim and sending unit adjustment

I have a 2000 260 SeaRay. I just had the trim limit switch and trim gauge sending unit replace. They are not as they were. Can anyone share what the factory settings should be? I am sure it should only go out a few inches from bottom to full trim. and what should the gauge read at full trim. Right now I will blow out at full trim and my gauge read 3/4 at full trim. That leave me 1/4 of the gauge to see where my unit is in the water.
