There was a man selling Trident dinghies at the Baltimore boat show and he will be at the AC show this week. The dinghy is a air floor PVC and made in China. Good price $995 + 75 for shipping, 8 ft. The salesman showed us a lot of good features the boat has, thickness of the PVC and warranty. The brochure he had did not give any specs and the website does not have any specs or warranty info.
Does anybody know about the Trident Inflatables?

I know nothing about Trident dinghies but I purchased another brand several years ago at the Annapolis Boat show and was never happy with it so I gave it away to a friend whom needed one. Just didn't like the floor flexibility when getting in and out, running in the water and pour tracking ability. If you haven't had a chance to use one on water you may or may not be happy with one. The low cost will always be available but standing in one on hard ground is nothing like one on the water which is how they sell so many from what I'm told. Hope this helps with your consideration and use.

We bought a Saturn 8' 6" with slatted floor, and like was said, price was real nice, I want to say 800 and some dollars, less than 900. We put a 4 stroke Suzuki outboard on it, and it is fine for what we do. The motor was a good deal at 1070.00 with free shipping. The slatted floor is soft, but when seated I don't feel any real flex, and the slats they used are 7" wide so there is a fair amount of hrd surface for your feet. Much better than the 3" slats I see in a lot of the soft floor dinghies.
