The rear seat in the cockpit that mounts to the top of the transom wall is in rough shape. Is there a place that I can order a replacement?

I don't know if you can find a new one, and assuming yours is similar to the the 280, a good canvas shop should be able to re-cover the old one, or re-build using old one as a pattern.

I just started restoring my exterior seating myself. Didn't like the pricing I was seeing for custom shops I have done the stern corner seat and the plywood was shot so had to make new. It's not too bad because you have all the pieces for patterns. I found sewing the piping into the seams to match original to be the hardest, but his seat has the most curves and joints in seams so when I get to the others( most likely next winter), I think it will be easier. The seams are straighter. The material is quite reasonable. I purchased mine from SailRite on line, something like $15.00 a square yard.
