Just picked up a new (to us) 2002 Sea Ray Sundancer 460. There is a hole in the Starboard transom that allows the shorepower cable to run through with out the need to leave the Starboard transon locker door open, it is fitted with a very neat stainless surround and the hole is about 3 or 4 inches in diameter.

I would like to put a similar fitting on the Port side of the transom to allow the dock water hose to pass through, therefore not having to leave the Port transom locker lid slightly raised when connected to dock water.

What are these stainless hole surrounds called, I can not find a seller of these anywhere, however I am sure they are easy to find if I knew the name of what I am looking for

Thanks
Graham.

Graham, go on the Sea Ray website! Look for your Boat in the Parts section, they should have the name of it in there and a Part#.
Cheers

My Sea Ray Parts Manual calls it:

Part Number 948547 HAWSE PIPE, OVAL 4.25"X 16"GAUGE X 1"

The one on my boat is large enough for both shore power cords and the water hose to pass through OK.

Graham, According to my parts list the part is # 994558 SS Flange. Call Sea Ray and if they don't have one ask for the supplier and call them directly. However, do you really need a 2nd pass-through, I can get a hose, TV cable, and shorepower cord to fit through mine at the same time.

My boat has two transom lockers, Port and Starboard. The Starboard locker has the shorepower connection in it and the Port locker has the dock water connection.

The boat is fitted with a Passarelle that is mounted on the center section between the two lockers. Maybe the answer is to run an internal hose between the water connection and into the starboard locker, and then connect all lines through the opening into the starbaord locker.

Will try Sea Ray with the part number given on this post, thanks guys

Graham, I imagine in Spain you normally dock aft to and use your passarelle, I would think if it worked your internal hose idea might provide a cleaner set-up around the swim-platform. If it works, but you find it would be more convenient depending of the set-up at your frequent docking locations then you could always add a 2nd port side access later.

Good luck. Art
