Transducer install

I just ordered a Humminbird depth finder for my 175 sport. I am going to put it in myself and was looking for some advice on where to mount the transducer. I was hoping to find someone that may have pictures of where they mounted theirs on the 175. Any advice that anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

I would go by the instructions, you either have to mount port or starbd, can't remember which due to the water being pushed by prop. Get some 4200 or 5200 3M to fill in the screws but it should be fairly easy, Good Luck and I am sure you will get some different opinions/options. RF

Yea.. the instructions tell me to mount it in "clean" water. I just don't know exactly where that is. Hopefully someone can help me out!
