hi all can anybody tell me how difficult it is to reseal a leaky tranny and install dripless logs. tranny seals leaking a little, they both work fine. also about how much for the yard to do each job, my boat is a 88 300 weekender with 350's thanks for any help

You didn't say where the trans was leaking, so I assume its the output shaft seal at the back. It's not that hard but since you need to empty the fluid first and since you will need the coupling off of the shaft to install the shaft seals, why not just take the trans out and set it on a bench. Six big bolts, two wires (maybe three if yours is rigged with a trans temp sensor), a shift cable and two cooler lines and its free.

If you want to go cheap and easy, try some berrymans transmission seal conditioner. It works and you say it only leaks a little. If it doesn't do the trick, you're only out $6.

As far as a yard goes, a buddy just had the PSS seals done for $500.
