Trailer weight for 1991 Sea Ray 170 Bow Rider

Are there any Sea Ray owner's out there who can tell me the weight of just the trailer for the 1991 Sea Ray 170 Bow Rider? I am considering buying this boat (used), but I want to make sure my tow vehicle can handle the total weight of boat plus trailer.

Your boat should weigh no more than 1,500 - 1,700 pounds depending on engine size, gear on boat, etc.. Therefore the trailer should normally be a single axle trailer and the package should definitely weigh well under 3,000 pounds.

Be careful in your trailer purchase so you get a quality trailer with the features you need. Galvanized, Aluminum, Painted Carbon Steel, Regular Tires or Trailer Tires, Radial or Bias Ply, Brand Names, EZ Load, Fastload, Loadmaster, Etc.. (There is a lot of junk trailer brands out there!)
