Trailer Hitch Question

Dry weight is about 10,000 - pretty massive, +1000 pounds for gas and water, + gear, + trailer... pushing 15,000 pounds.

I towed my 250 all over Michigan and Canada with my Expedition. Sounds like that's not going to happen with the 340 :smt009

I'd need a 5th wheel set up at least and to have a vehicle dedicated to towing a boat 2-3 times a year doesn't make a lot of sense. I figured if I could do it with an old 1/2 ton pickup it might be worthwhile.

For a small fee, maybe you could rent or borrow a truck or truck and driver to move it small distances? Maybe a company that moves mobile homes could handle it? They have all the stuff required to handle it?
