We got to do cruise on a pair of SEARAY boats recently that is a little different than your everyday marina hop. This was a trip starting from Kino Bay in Mexico on the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California). We spent 8 days cruising from Kino Bay on the main land side to Bahia de los Angles ( LA Bay) on the Baja peninsula side and back again. Not a great distance, about 250 miles round trip, but traverering some desolate, primitive, scenic spots with little or no services available. The nice thing about this area is the many islands between the two locations. There are plenty of places to hide if the weather goes bad. We did some diving and fishing working our way across from Kino to LA Bay for the first 4 days then gassing up at LA Bay and heading back across the gulf to Kino.
The boats were a 1984 27 foot Amberjack with twin 350ci motors and a 1987 268 Sundancer with twin V-6 motors. The boats ran great all week with one little problem with one of the V-8 losing fresh water cooling. Topping off every other day seemed to keep it going. There were 3 of us on each boat. Take a look at some of the pictures.

A couple more pictures.
1. 268 SEARAY on the move.
2. Some of the sea life.
3. Gassing up at LA Bay. Typical PU with barrals in the back and a hand pump.
4,5. Feeding Whale Shark!

Looks like great fun. At first I thought that truck was the tow vehicle. Were there cold beers taken aboard at your fuel stops? again, great pics
