Touch my junk and I'll have you arrested!

and a quick refresher... 100% of the planes brought down in this country were done so by MUSLIM EXTREMISTS!

Safety records are pretty outstanding, but I bet "mechanical failure" and "human error" rank pretty high up there in terms of planes falling out of the sky.

I live without fear.

The scare and bare tactics of our current administration is meant to bring the rank and file into line. It’s meant to bring us into a more submissive state. It’s meant to promote corporate thought instead of individuality.

We are hand fed by a media that sway minds made of mashed potatoes. Minds that have no individual thought process because they have been tlt fed by government programs.

Well said!

Not just what I quoted, but the whole post was good.

I would just add that the previous administration was just as bad in this regard.

Alright Mr. Smarty Britches..... semantics. I meant by deliberate "Man Caused Disaster" type tactics.. You forgot Bird strikes and Lightning! But on a lighter note... thanks for the heads-up, I've got football to watch tonight on the NFL network!! Woot Woot!

True enough. But not all airline bombings were. And not all terror attacks in this country were either. I'm not saying Muslim extremists aren't a concern. They are a major concern. But we can't take our eye off the rest of the nut jobs either. Or Timothy McVey and Richard Reid and the like will sneak up on us.

Pardon the interruption with factual information but Richard Reed was a member of Al-Qaeda

Wow! This is so much fun when we all use FACTS, isn't it?

Wikipedia said:
(snip) "is a self-admitted member of al-Qaeda (snip)

"Reid, was born a British citizen in Bromley, South London,to Leslie Hughes, who was of white English descent, and Colvin Robin Reid, whose father was a Jamaican immigrant of African descent.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Reid_(shoe_bomber)

I think you both are right!

But I am confused: Are we arguing "profiling" or "grabbing your junk"?

I fly about half a million miles every year. I am a big guy and I travel with a bag full of expensive / high-tech gadgets and a cpap. Nobody has been assaulted by TSA more or worse than me, its the price of doing business.

This entire made up controversy is nothing but political gamesmanship. If the person in the whitehouse had an R behind their name this thread would be labeled "unpatriotic" by all the people raising hell in it now.

BTW- Reading this thread is hilarious..... Ann Coulter says it and all the dittos parrot it :smt043
Not hardly:smt021 Who started the "name calling" first?? So with your argument, I guess you loose :smt043

I proclaimed that profiling was the answer early in this thread... that was before it got political and personal. Some say profiling can be harsh and the subjects will be mixed across race, both of which are true. History shows, in all parts of the world, that eventually we put on uniforms so we tell each other apart. I don't live in fear but I do like to be prepared.

...and that's all I got say about that.

Guys, I don't think you are ever going to be able to convince Liberals that terrorists are a real threat any more than you could convince them that a baby's life is more important than a tree. So I don't see any ground being gained on that front. The terrorists are not going to just go away either-unfortunately.

I don't like profiling either but by not doing it we are only hurting ourselfs. My problem is all the time wasted with groping kids and hassling 80 year old ladies just to make sure they can say with out a doubt that no one was "offended" or got their feelings hurt. I rarely fly because all of the security crap plus all the delays and everything else.

I don't think any real headway is going to be made until we can start worrying less about peoples "feelings" and more about actual rights. People don't have a Constitutional right not to have their feelings hurt.

I don't know what the answer it but there has got to be a better way to do it.

Agreed! two words...Glass desert! Just one time. Even if it's an unpopulated desert just out of reach of the city. Let them feel the earth shake beneath their feet and see the mushroom!

Name calling aside, we should first find what we can agree on and then debate what we cannot.

Is there anyone who would stand by and let what happened to this little girl happen to your own kids or grandkids?

My previous post: http://www.prisonplanet.com/shocker-tsa-has-been-molesting-children-for-years.html

Anyone disagree this President should show leadership and demonstrate his belief this is necessary by following this proposal?

Dittos? Wow your really reaching but if that hurts your delicate feelings, I'm very sorry.
This is my last post with you on this. "delicate" I am not. But this entire statement..."This entire made up controversy is nothing but political gamesmanship. dittos parrot i"...is what opened you up. You inject partisan politics in a thread about people getting groped in a security line and feel you have to defend your wasted vote for POTUS! And then you get offended when someone "calls a spade a spade":grin: Have a good evening.

Wow! This has been an exciting day on the ol' forum. I think we need that rabbit/pancake picture.

The fact that we are even having this discussion/debate is evidence that these a-holes are winning. We have had to change our lifestyles due to their beliefs.

I am of Scot-Irish ancestors. If a group of Irish fanatics brought down several airliners full of people (assuming they sobered up long enough) and TSA decided all Irsih/Scottish people were a risk and began profiling us for a more thorough search prior to boarding an airplane, so be it. At least I would feel safer. It would be an inconvenience for sure. I am sure that there are muslims that are not fanatics that do not want to be singled out because of their beliefs but I'm also pretty certain they don't want to die in a firery crash.

More than anything, I resent that the life style that I have known has been changed because of a group that feels the rest of us don't belong on the planet. I am all for freedom of religion but not at the expense of human life.

If a fanatic group of 75 year-old blue-haired old ladies formed a militant group and started blowing up United's planes I would be for profiling all of the afore mentioned grannies.

The events of 9/11 changed our lives for probably the rest of our lives. On one hand I want to say we need to go over there and kick some serious bootie. But killing martyrs is not a very good solution when they believe that death is better than life. Their goal is not for money or land or power....it is religous and that is a greater danger.

I will continue to fly and endure the current security measures because that is really the only acceptable way to perform the job I was hired to do. Hopefully, in the near future, someone will realize TSA is acomplishing nothing.... except providing jobs for people that couldn't make it as a used car salesman.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to go catch my next flight.

Yep... been there... watched that with my son... but his "mommy" wasn't allowed to be there while they did this.

Profile away... it ain't racial... it's like a credit report...

Bunch of retarded a@sholes that think this pediatric screening behavior is "OK"... Maybe Barney Frank should be a TSA agent.

hahahahaha..... yes I guess I did call a spade a spade, didn't I. :wow: My comment was not intended to be partisan, just an honest evaluation. I guess it was right on because look at how defensive you became. Chill out dude, I'm just giving my opinion same as you are. No reason to be hateful, at least as far as I'm concerned. We both think the TSA can be abusive and it ought to be fixed. I just don't think profiling is the answer. Taking away someones civil rights to appease another injustice is silly. Two wrongs never make a right, do they?

Well-It looks like these nit wits in Washington have finally gone to far....I have seen in the last hour a notice across the bottom of my TV screen saying that a major airport has opted out of the TSA screening and will contract with a private co. for their security.... There is some sanity left in our once fine country after all.....If its true...Should be headlines by morning news cycle.

I hope the airport is ready for the influx of new flyers both leaving and connecting at their facility.
