Changed out the thermostat removed the 160 stat and installed high flow 145deg stat. being a carbed engine the temp can be lowered it was running about 180-185 with the 160 deg stat which was nasty when i removed it..

Installed the merc thermostat gasket with ground contacts.

Ill see where it runs at next trip.

Installed steel mounting brackets for fire extinguishers. Mounted one under drivers helm and one in cabin right side of opening.



 
picked up a key bouy.. Figured it was small and would be better to have than larger float dangling on the small dash.



 
In this pic you can see interior construction that i alreadt replaced darker colored carpet pieces.. Also replaced construction under the rear seat where pads sit.

 
Installed the LED cup holders and wired.. Used blank switch in dash for LED cup holders and also accent lighting.Still have to install the accent lighting.

few pics of interior, all the seats, side panels and sun deck were covered in black mold.. Have to clean cabin interior yet..







Top of cabin that needs to be cleaned you can see the black mold. The seats and interior were worse than cabin interior.

Almost finished LED lighting.. have to finish from stb cup holder in side panel to drivers cockpit.

 
Tony, that's a really nice looking boat for a 1991. Great photos and great work so far. Thanks for sharing. I've always wondered if those key buoy things really work.
 
Had new cockpit cover made for the boat this season, opened up but not dewinterized yet. Charging batteries, removed anodes, going to buy ss prop this year to increase upper end speed something with bow lift. the aluminum prop just does not get it done.

 
Finished up winch install on trailer and winch stand to accommodate winch.used 9500lb smitty built waterproof winch.. wish trailer manufactures would start offering winch stands to accommodate truck style winches they are superior to trailer winches. I have warn series wound 12000lb on my 30T and ramsey 9500's on another 30T and 23T and another smitty built on a 23T.

Starting repair on 1st cushion, this is the only one with bad wood that has to be done now as it collapses when you sit on it or step off sundeck. Seems they did not use marine plywood as there is a lot of voids in sheeting. I can post pics of marine plywood that I have. should be footballs where voids are. Appears to be exterior ply.

cut out new piece of plywood, reassembled seat cushion, I also sprayed the yellow strip to bring it back. Sem marine vinyl coat 1st time using it works very well..

What product are you using to clean mold?? - really looks good!!
