I have been watching the Soprano's since it came to A&E. There have been a few episodes on Tony's boat which looks to be a SeaRay. Can anyone tell me what model and year?

Don't know about Stugots, but the boat they went out on when Big Pussy got wacked looked like a 50 something Sundancer.

thats the one I'm talking about. I think the name of the boat is "Stugots".

what year then? I look at the archive and the 1996-98 50s look a little different that what I recall on the show. especially the deck when they were draggin the body out.

I'm no Sopranos expert, but I think they were just sea trialing the Sea Ray, which was the excuse to take somebody else's boat out in the ocean to wack Big you know who, that way there would be no evidence on Stugots............. Tony's boat (Stugots) kind of looks like a Post.

Don't know the brand of boat, but a search found the meaning of the boat's name:

stugots, stugats: the name of Tony Sopranos boat means "this dick" in English. And not only that, it's southern Italian dialect. The original term is 'STU CAZZO; 'stu means "this" as in "questo". Cazzo means prick. So taken together it's obscene. Believe it or not, it goes from QUESTO CAZZO in standard Italian to 'STUGOTS in southern Italian-American Brooklynese.

I still remember the first time my older brother used that word.....(stugots).....he was about 13-14 (I was 6-7).....my Mom let him have it....with the big wooden spoon...!!!!!!

In the first few episodes Tony had a Egg Harbor.....they wacked Big Puss on a 40 Bayliner Avanti that they called a Sea Ray 50 and there was another boat in between that was some sort of custom sportfish and was not a post.

Tony now has a 2006 62 Ocean Yacht Super Sport

This is the sign you see when your getting on the Verrazano Bridge here in New York
Im not even kidding!

my guess is that would be one of the NY families. weren't the Corleones headquartered in Long Island?

Tony only used the SeaRay to take ***** out . . . the Stugot is either a Pacemaker Sport Fisherman or possibly and Egg Harbour, one of the Sport Fish lines

His name was "BIG *****"...there I said it...didn't know it was a SWEAR word....!!
