I once had 6 kids on my boat and they apparently were not listening to my head/tp speech. At the end of the day, the head was toast, and I gave up trying to clear it. My pump out guy said it was perhaps the worst tp clog he had ever seen. I want to ban tp. But the admiral is allowing it, along with red wine. Seriously though, my new "speech" now instructs guests to put the used tp in the little trash can next to the head. I have no issues dealing with it in this matter. In high school while working on open party fishing boats I had to clean the heads after 50 people used them all day, including the puke. Puts in to perspective for me.
 
Rick, in my very humble opinion, you are waaaaay to ANAL to be spending so much time on such a crappy topic! (Boy, and I glad nobody beat me to the "anal" joke!)

For the record, we use White Cloud from WalMart at home and on the boat. My standard cautionary statement to new female cruising guests goes something like this...

"Marine heads are VERY fussy about what is put down them. If you haven't already eaten it, it doesn't belong in a head, except for toilet paper, which brings me to another topic. If you use more than 2-3 sheets of TP to do your business you probably will plug the head. Which means I will have to clean it out before it can be used again, which means EVERYONE on the boat will know who caused the blockage. So ladies please don't wrap it around your hand several times like you're used to doing at home. We will know it was you!"

If that doesn't scare them into being careful, nothing will.
 
My remedy is none!! There is a waste can next to the toilet for the used toilet paper with a plastic bag in it for ease of disposal when full. Nothing goes into the toilet but number one no number two that is what the toilets on the main land are for is number two.
This has saved alot of problems.
 
I go to my local RV store and get the 4 pack on sale for $1.00 and have never had an issue....:huh:

I made a similar post in another thread, and most were in shock. But, we continue to do this, except #2 is allowed. Just curious (not poking at you) but, are you positive nobody is doing #2 in your head? By the way, my head has never broke, got clogged, etc. My dock neighbors are taking apart and clearing out there heads, units, tanks at least once yearly, due to someone using a roll at a time.
 
I do #2 in my head all the time and I allow others to do the same.

That is why we are analyzing the type, style, quality, absorbency and other factors of toilet tissue. I wouldn't think of asking someone to wipe their parts and then put the tissue in a plastic bag in a trash can. That is just plain odd...

No one does the doo in my head. Unless its an emergency...

I had a clog once, that was more then enough to change the rules!

I tell who ever uses it not to do two, but who knows what goes on behind closed doors. I have had no problems with my head since rule was put in place though.
