timing of fireworks on LKN......

does anyone know when the various fireworks shows on Lake Norman for the 4th are scheduled?.....we will be on the boat this Friday night through Monday evening.....

we just stayed at our marina and watched the fireworks from a distance....we could see them pretty well....the ones Saturday night at the Donald Trump golf cub and one of the NASCAR drivers were the best IMO ....

Cliff - I never made up Sunday night, the storms rolled in and I didn't want to deal with all that. Hate I missed them, like fireworks on the lake.

Found "my peeps"....sort of! Went to The Landing and they lit more fireworks from the Lake Norman Motel parking lot than our water park does at home (I think theirs has been 10 min or so each of the last few years). Nothing to compare to Trump or Nascar, I'm sure, but a good 45 minutes worth of fire and fun for everybody!

if you were at the 'Landing' restaurant you were only about 500' from our marina.....the 'Boat Rack Marina' is behind the condos that are across the street from the 'Landing'......you can see the condos in my signature pic...and i agree their fireworks were good....

No way!!! Close Encounters of the CSR Kind!!! (Now I'm disappointed this is likely my last visit to the area--would have loved to try to connect so you could regale me with LKN stories. )

The first three cruisers on the private dock were DAs....and one at the end was a Carver Santego, all of which made me feel like I was right at home: including us, there are 4 DAs, 1 WE, 1 EC, and 2 Santegos among our lake crew.

(AND the guest I chatted with most has an EC slipped in Clearwater and is looking at 80s DAs.)
