Time to enjoy the boat!

Well I moved to Jacksonville last summer and spent most of it trying to get the house / property useable. This summer I intend to have some fun. We are going to head out to New River this weekend and get the boat wet for the first time in a while. Bought a good supply of salt-away and am ready to do some serious lounging. I would like to get up to some of the lakes this summer and do some camping to. I have to get as much in this summer as I can since there is a good chance i wont be around next summer at all. Any info on lakes and time of year to start hitting them (read warm water) would be greatly appreciated.

Lake Wylie is never a bad choice. If you own a camper you could stay at Ebenezer Park fairly cheaply. Rock Hill has movie cinemas and plenty of restaurants in town. T-Bonz is also accessible by lake. Alot of people have also been talking about Lake Jocassee but I haven't a clue where it is. Greenville, SC perhaps. Be well...
