Tight Steering on 320

All,
Has anyone fixed an issue with tight steering on their boat? My 320 seems very tight (takes 2 hands to turn the wheel). Wife and son won't even drive it cause it's so tight. Power steering fluid is good. Any other thoughts on what I could check?

First guess would be the steering cables

Cable vs hydraulic may influence folks feedback, can you confirm which you have?

For what it's worth I had a rudder removed and repaired a few years back. Upon re-installation they wayyyy over tightened the rudder seal (not sure the proper term for this). It made the steering very tight, far tighter than it was before the repair. I asked them to loosen it back up. It was a 2 minute job with the right tools (massive wrenches) and she was back to normal.

I was told they like to leave them "too tight" until after they are back in the water to make sure they don't leak...so, there's my two cents
