Thruster..

My stern thruster started acting up yesterday. It'll thrust towards port but nothing towards SB. When I try SB it just clicks once like its actuating but then nothing. Almost like a dead battery when starting but just one click.

Any ideas? Obviously it's not critical since it's purely a luxury to have it. However on those windy days it's nice

Probably nothing wrong with the motor or dash controls... sounds like a solenoid maybe. Some of the solenoids have an integral blade type fuse.

Jim, would the solenoid be easy to access and is it special order? If you know.. I won’t be back to boat till Friday.

I’m going to look for loose cable/wire first. Solenoid will be step two

Your reversing solenoid is likely in the bilge close to the stern thruster. It does not appear to be a factory option, so it's hard to tell.
