my through hull fittings are frozen
what should i spray on them to allow me to open and close them

It is helpful if you give us the boat specifics as Sea Rays uses different parts on various models.

If your sea cocks are really frozen, I wouldn't mess with them until you can get to a haul-out facility. The Appollo valves are not normally servicable, however, you can remove the drain plug and insert a grease fitting and inject some grease in the ball mechanism. You are going to need to get the valve broken loose to get any grease in the parts where it is needed. For this you need a long handle wrench or a "cheater" to put over the valve handle.

DO NOT try to break it loose unless you are where you can get the boat hauled out immediately. It you break the valve off, a lot of water comes in in a hurry. Usually, if you can get the handle to move even a little, you can inject more grease and leep working that little bit over and over and the ball valve will eventually work properly.

If you have Perko sea-cocks, the boat must be out of the water to service them and you can take them apart and lubricate the internal parts.

thanks
i guess the safe thing to do it to take it to marine max for a haul out and service
