This you`ll love.Warbirds of America

Great Video! Those aircraft will always be the best example of real flying in my mind. I don't care who you are, when a P-51 fires up just a few yards away from you, you can't help but get goose bumps.

Thanks for sharing! My favorite is the F4 Phantom or Lightning.

Great video. I'm not an airplane nut, but I do enjoy looking at them and enjoy the airshow they put on over the Columbia River during our Water Follies hydroplane races.

Me too on the F4. When I was in the USAF in AK I got a ride in the back seat. The Inertial Nav system that I worked on had a recurring problem when the plane was inflight but we were not able to duplicate it on the bench. I got about a 45 minute ride to take a look at it, it FU'd inflight and I could see what was happening at the time. That led to a rewiring of a wiring harness that was causing the problem.

What an airplane and what a ride!

Thanks for posting that! Brought back some great memories of attending air shows with my uncles!
One really interesting memory was with that B29 'FIFI' - My guess is it was late 70's or early 80's at the Cleveland National Air Show one of FIFI's engines caught fire when they turned it over!
I was looking through binoculars and just about having a heart attack when my uncle patted me on the back and said "Dont worry, they will throttle it up and blow it out" and seconds later thats exactly what they did.

+1 EAA Oshkosh WI. I feel very proud when I see them in formation flying over on their journey to Oshkosh. The P51's make a stop in Fon Du Lac to gather. You can knock off a tick on your bucket list as they do rides out of the FDL airport. I am personally a big fan of Nose Art.
Thanks for posting! Mike

The B-17 Yankee Lady flys out of Willow Run Airport (Michigan) about 10 miles from my winter home.
