China Motors is going to shaft the employees and the Union is helping while being paid by kickbacks....just my take. I won't buy another GM car. JMHO, Mike.

The UAW is basically a company union and a political partner with Obama to get votes for a share in GM.

I agree with this quote, just not the original context: “What GM took from us, they should give back,”

This is a false statement: “They bailed out the auto industry. We paid it back while Wall Street didn’t pay a penny,”

It is true they paid back the $6-7 Billion in loans, but we (the taxpayers) bought $66 Billion in stock worth $30 Billion now.

Ford stock looks like a good deal.

It’s never good for the employees when the Government and the unions are in bed together because the employees will always be the ones getting screwed and the Union leaders will be the winners. When the UAW negotiate with Ford are they going to give GM & Chrysler a better deal than Ford since they aren't part owners with Ford? I also woulds never buy a new GM or Chrysler if I could afford one which as far as I can see I will never be able to.
