Tied up at a floating dock, weather is moving through today.

At the moment blowing about 18-20 knots sustained. Windy app says it will pick up to sustained high 20's, with gusts as high as 40kn. Watching the front on radar. Still off shore but we will see the front edge in the next 30-60 minutes I guess.

Not many boats out - but there is a kite surfer out my window getting a wild ride.

Extra lines, extra fenders. About as secure as we can be.

We are getting it here in South Carolina. Over 20mph sustained. The tall pines are swaying.

Here in Cocoa Florida it's been blowing on and off for days. Presently it's 13-16 with gusts to 31, according to the weather app. Don't have wind speed measures on our boat. Been bumpy but not too bad in the Cocoa Village Marina. Last night was too windy to walk, so we Uber-ed to the restaurant.

Friend said the Sunshine Skyway bridge in Tampa Bay is closed due to high wind. Storm has hit here with moderate rain, lightning and wind. Nothing extreme.

Video, pics?

It’s blowing in Norfolk too. I just put out two extra fenders also. We are docked next to one of those harbor cruise sailing vessels, 3 masted schooner. A lot of noise from the wind going through all that rigging.

We are in Clearwater. No pic's, I fell asleep.

We were watching a Tampa station, they had said Sunshine Skyway was closed.

I think the worst slid past us and came in Tarpon Springs and north. Did not seem as bad here as forecasted.

Phase 1 wasn't so bad. Phase 2 on it's way here to Cocoa (north of Melbourne).

It was 85 here yesterday and now 62 and solid rain all day. Really need to mow my grass before I leave out for business next week. Tomorrow high is going to be 50, where in the heck did spring go??? Anyway going down to the boat tomorrow to start the move in process....

We’ve had some crazy weather/wind here the last week or so. This weekend looks like it’s going to be even worse.

20 kt wind? Pffffttt….normal day in N. Texas. And of course the winds are out of either the S or N 95% of the time, and the slips are oriented E and W.....some real genius there. o_O
