The Turtle goes south

Winds tomorrow are 15-20kts out of the SW. You have an incoming tide battling the winds.....PLEASE have the video up and running tomorrow. Oh....and NOAA is predicting small craft advisory for the sissy part of the Chessapeake.....

Here's a photo of Four Suns on the Delaware Bay. I think he was complaining that the bridge A/C wasn't cold enough and the little teeny waves were spilling his cappucino on the bridge carpet.

As a relatively inexperienced boater it is fascinating to read about some of these ventures. The pictures and videos are great, the comentary even better. Thanks to all you big boat / big adventure guys for taking the time to post. Guys like me have no clue as to what is going on during some of these trips. The planning & prep work must be intense. The constant need for proper decision making is surely not for the faint at heart.

Anyhow, thanks again for posting so we can continue learning.

Tell me about it Aweigh, I'm thrilled just to make it from the north end of Lake Keowee to the south end and back again in one day.:wow:
Thanks for posting Turtle, we'll keep watching.

Hey Mike.....WAKE UP!!!!.....You have a date with the Hellaware!!! I hope you didn't eat too much lobster bisque or have too much butter with your lobster tails last night at the Lobster House.

NOAA's forecast for the mouth of the Delaware: Today...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 1 to 2 ft

Should be a piece of cake....mutiny averted.

Give our best to the crew.......and Enjoy BIH

Looking good Mike. Very cool to sit here in Ohio, drink some morning coffee, and ride along!

The Delaware is being kind to him...

Maybe not. What's with all the towels? Is that a "Sundancer" thing? Bring lots-o-towels to place around the helm...

Can we assume the "SIT DOWN! HOLY ****" command he just yelled is for his mother?

How fast is Mike going ??. It looks like he's cooking right along.

The torque of the CATs allows us CAT Sundancer guys to maintain plane at low RPM/Spd. You bridge guys would be barffing over the side by now from all the rocking.
