Don't know if I did this youtube video correct. This is a quick clip of a 40 minute ride on the waverunner. 6pm on saturday evening. 50 MPH and not one boat for the 30 miles we went. For me this is what it is all about! https://studio.youtube.com/video/NpgbCJF53XY/edit
Unless the weather turns or we have an Indian summer, I am going on the weekend of 10/15 to winterize the boat and jet ski and change the oil in both. I hate doing it this early, but the lake has been chilly and our weekend calendar is filling up. We love fall boating, and we usually go until the end of October to see the fall colors. I normally winterize the weekend after Halloween which is the weekend before the marina closes for 3 months.
Beautiful Lake Guntersville Alabama on 92’ 300 weekender twin 5.7s. Wanting to put on plane but having trim tab problems and afraid to hammer down without them. Love this time of year
Fall boating around here starts on labor day & ends about the 2nd week of Oct. Because the north wind begins to blow cold air & makes the water too rough to pleasure boat. I got mine winterized & backed into the garage.
Here's my around here -last Saturday 70 and sunny. Perfect day to be on the bay. Well at St. Michaels that is. Been raining since Sunday though...
