The season has started --- at least for me!

Me too! Marina called today. Launch is Friday 4/23. Mechanic said he will have outdrive like new by then, already made the engine like new. So ready after all this rain.
Congrats

Been rain non stop lately, trunk full of paint stuff. Been expecting the call “get your shit launched”. Came today, so much to do, 10 days, and that Witch who is my boss just don’t get it. She had 5 cats, one died last week, I bet she cooked and ate it!

Forecast says nice day that day. First stop after launch, Crazy Tuna. Few beers then take her to slip. I so miss that bluba bluba bluba sound of a 454 idling in water. Better than the Boston Pops Symphony.

Bottom painted, outdrive painted, new risers manifolds elbows rubber flappers, anodes, New canvas, waiting on mechanic to check out out drive this week then launch Friday. Lil expensive winter but the boat has everything done needed done, gonna be a good summer.

Supposed to launch Friday morn. The mechanic still needs to pull OD to inspect & replace parts. Ain’t heard dick, blocking boats that want to go in. Getting tight. If this don’t go as planned, marina will be pissed, boats behind us will be pissed. I hope I don’t get charged to move and re block my baby. And it ain’t my fault. Told mechanic in October.

Congratulations! Spring officially starts when I hear my boat engine start for the first time after the Winter.

The sound my twin 350's make backing into my slip for the first time of the season!

Launched the boat today. The best sound was no sound. All last summer I had to listen to the dam flapper rattling. Fixed this winter, the quiet was so nice.

First trip to the tiki bar yesterday. It’s on!
