The Mother Of All Maritime Links

I discovered that link while I was in Iraq! many f hours of Boat building Day dreaming were a result of that link!! I want to build me a ply wood boat!!!!

Holy mackerel... that is one huge site! Good find, definitely a bookmark for that one.

 Thank you for sharing....

It has quite a few useful links, but is missing dozens of very popular news, industry and DIY sites about boating. Google will find these and many more sites much quicker. I'm sure many people will benefit in some way from your posting. Thanks.

I guess I just don't see why I would use that and hot Google, it is overwhelming!

+1

I agree.

I went to the site and tried to find three things using the search at the site.

I tried to find our forum CSR. I tried to search using CSR, Club Sea Ray and Clubsearay. I got search results to multiple pages, not actual results. All of these pages in the results were simply a page of links. I searched thru them yet never found a link to our forum. I’m not saying it’s not there, just that I could not find it, even when I knew what I was looking for.

I tried searching for two other sites that I visit and had similar results.

In my opinion this site may have a value to some people to mindlessly click around but if you are actually trying to find anything Google is a far better tool.

O'well you can't please everyone . I just like to read and thought others would like the site also. :smt001

Maybe true Wayne, but I bookmarked it. You can never have too much information at the click of the mouse. Thanks for posting.

BTW while we are on the subject, I stopped trying to “please everyone” a long time ago.

Wayne,
This is a really cool site, especially for a new boater like myself who has such a shallow nautical knowledge base. What is particulaly appealing is the matrix organization by category that one can drill into if interested. The most enjoyable course is not always a straight line search but rather taking a bit longer to explore.:smt038
