Don't even get me started on diversity and inclusion, training I have to do at work. And I have to hit a quota of diversity applicants when I post a new job before I can even start interviewing candidates.

Yes, like the NFL. You have to interview them, but you don’t have to hire. You can hire best candidates still. In the future not so much probably…
 
Actually, no, I can't. I was not allowed to interview until the quota was hit, and in some cases it never did. There had to be a certain percent of Asian, Blacks, Hispanics, Female (she/her pronoun shit) applicants before I could tell HR to phone screen. I could care less what they looked like, are they smart and can they get the work done is what I care about.

I had to attend 4-5 diversity and inclusion training/seminars a quarter as well, else I was in trouble :)

I was one of the few white males in my area, strangely.

The way of things now, it is preferred that you are offended. And you are supposed to understand that you deserve to be offended.
 
Man this has to stop, we really need to stop pandering to 15% of the population, and I bet of that 15% it's less then half that we are catering too. Taking down statues isn't going to change history. Offended, I don't think many of the 85% cares.
