This summer I picked up a 98 SeaRay 185 bowrider. Was a super clean boat that was owned by an older couple. Estimated to have less than 200 hours and hardly in the sun.

Picked it up:

Installed a tower:

Bought a new trailer since the old one was rusted and started to buckle. Also order a swim platform for the back:

Loving the boat! We've added some ballast bags to the boat and it sets a decent wake.

Great looking design on that SR. The swim platform looks good on there too. Ya gotta like a big platform like that.

Thanks for sharing the pics, and welcome to CSR.

Looks great I love my swimplatform.com platform. Also I gotta ask why you put the rear tower legs on backwords.

I was wondering the same thing?

Any who welcome to CSR. Glad you are enjoying your new ride!

Welcome. What does "the fake setter" mean?

Thanks for the comments and welcome guys!

The tower I did just to be a little bit different. There is a guy on the river with the same tower so now we don't match. It also helped with getting boards on and off since I can mount the racks higher and stand on the side of the haul.

Fake Setter is my name for the boat. It's no $80,000 Malibu WakeSetter so I named it the Fake Setter.
