The days are getting longer!!!

It's all downhill from here! Bit by bit, the days are getting longer! And it can't happen soon enough. I think I've watched every boating video on YouTube....including sailing videos.

C'mon Spring 2020!!!

I look forward to this day once I winterize. Daylight gets a min or 2 longer everyday
Once past the new year, I know there is only 3 months left til I can go boating again

I also like the fact that, despite January and February up here being the coldest months, it is also more bright and sunny generally. There is normally so much cloud in November and December that they are gray months in a lot of ways.
(And Costco is about 3 weeks away from bringing in spring stuff up here, which is another pick-me-up).

Toronto International Boat show is January 17 to 26th too.

February marks the return of sunny days to West Michigan. Lake Michigan is usually frozen 15-25 miles offshore so we have fewer lake effect clouds. Cold, crisp days with great blue sky.

I can tell spring is getting closer because the temps have been in the mid-60's for the past week or so.

I know we won't be getting any measurable snow this year because we bought a new snow blower from Lowe's.

Down in Atlanta to visit my wife’s sister. It was 70 here today.
